YOGANDHRA - 2025

"YOGANDHRA 2025"Yoga Awareness and Training Initiative was organized by Government of Andhra Pradesh in collaboration with Kuppam Area Development Authority (KADA) and Indian Yoga Association from 1st June 2025 – 21st June 2025.

Overview

The "YOGANDHRA 2025" program was a large-scale yoga awareness and training initiative launched by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to promote physical fitness, mental wellness, and community well-being through the practice of yoga.

A total of 93 students from Kuppam Degree College actively participated in multiple activities designed to spread yoga awareness and demonstrate its benefits to the wider community.

Program Highlights

1. Yoga Training Program

  • Date: 01st June – 05th June 2025
  • Organized by: Kuppam Area Development Authority (KADA)
  • Participants: 93 students underwent comprehensive yoga training sessions, learning key asanas, breathing techniques, and the philosophy of yoga.

2. Yoga Awareness Rally

  • Date: 05th June 2025
  • Venue: Kuppam Town
  • The trained students participated in a Yoga Awareness Rally, encouraging local citizens to adopt yoga for better health and wellness.

3. Yoga Demonstration at Kangundi

  • Date: 14th June 2025
  • The students served as demonstrators during the "YOGANDHRA 2025" program held at Kangundi, showcasing various yoga postures and techniques to the gathered audience

4. School Awareness Visits

After their training, the students were divided into groups and visited local schools to educate school children on the benefits of yoga. These interactive sessions inspired young students to practice yoga regularly.

5. College-Level Yoga Program

  • Date: 20th June 2025
  • The trained students led the “YOGANDHRA 2025” event at Kuppam Degree College, conducting yoga sessions for students and staff.

6. Public Demonstration at NTR Stadium

  • Date: 21st June 2025 (International Yoga Day)
  • Venue: NTR Stadium, Kuppam
  • The students led the mass yoga demonstration, inspiring the community to adopt yoga for holistic well-being.

Recognition

All 93 participating students were awarded Appreciation and Participation Certificates by KADA and Lions Club in recognition of their commitment, leadership, and contribution to spreading yoga awareness.

Conclusion

The "YOGANDHRA 2025" program was a successful multi-event initiative that aligned with the Government of Andhra Pradesh's mission to promote wellness through yoga. The active involvement of students, local authorities, and community organizations made this program impactful and memorable.
